The Ig Nobel Prize Keyword List Everyone’s heard of the Nobel Prize, but not everyone knows about the Ig Nobel Prize. It is awarded for scientific research which seems silly at first, but could actually have a serious impact in . For example, in 2018, three Portuguese received an Ig Nobel Prize for investigating whether human saliva – that wet stuff in your mouth – was at cleaning kitchen surfaces.
